Faith is defined as having complete trust and confidence in someone or something. To have faith one must be fully convinced and persuaded. Having faith in God is believing the He will perform and accomplish what He says He will. It also means to hold onto God’s promises despite how weak and weary one can be.
It can be easy lose faith and hope. This comes with life in general, with hard situations, devastating news, the cares and worries of this world. When these times come and trust me they will come, it is imperative the we hold onto God’s promises. Faith in God is the key to pleasing Him.
I have collected my favorite bible verses about faith to help you find strength and encouragement, in the storms that may come up. With these current situations, we must put our trust and rely completely in God. The bible clearly states that we will have trouble in this world, deal with some unknowns and be up against some challenges. He also promises that we are more than conquerors we are victorious through Christ. I encourage you to press on, fight the good fight of faith knowing that God is on your side. The faith scriptures that have been collected I hope will give you some encouragement and inspiration for the journey ahead.
A Prayer for Faith, Hope and Strength
Heavenly Father I ask that you continued to please strengthen our hearts. Even when situations seem hopeless, You are still our hope. Help us Lord on our unbelief. We can waiver in our faith and belief at times. We ask that you strengthen our belief in You Lord. Let us know that You are the very present help in the times of trouble. Let us get Proverbs 4:23 in our spirits. It tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence, cause out it flows the issues of life. We have a lot of issues in life, but we know with your help and strength, You will fight our battles and see us thru. Please help to remain strong in the faith and the hope that lies ahead.
We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen
