Looking beautiful, natural and flawless is every girl’s dream when it comes to their skin. Powders are key to achieving this. Powders are versatile, and they can give the no makeup look or can be worn a to set the foundation. Maybelline powders is my staple go to brand. Maybelline has an array of powders pressed and loose and best of all they are available in may shades.
Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder
When it comes to pressed powders, I want something this lightweight, but offers excellent coverage, absorbs oil excellent shade range, and very affordable or “purse friendly”. Well having stated all those attributes to find in a pressed powder, I have found it the Maybelline Fit ME Pressed Powder. The Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder face make up leave a Poreless looking finish with long lasting shine control. It is ideal for oily skin; this long-lasting powder leaves a natural pore less looking finish with long lasting shine control.
The compact comes as small square shaped which makes it easy for travel. The powder lightweight and does not cake at all. It has a very fine texture which makes it perfect for blending. I found that is product does all of that and then some. It covers excellent without feeling cakey or maskey. The powder can be worn alone which is great for a quick no-makeup look. It can be worn over the foundation to set maximize the wear ability of the foundation. It pairs excellent Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. The Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder controls the shine and oil for 3-4 hours.
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder
The Maybelline Dream Matte Powder is also another excellent powder by Maybelline. The product is also lightweight and oil absorbing. This powder is finely crushed and pressed together. The texture is smooth and soft which allows for it to glide easily providing a soft natural look. The shade range in the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder is very minimal, especially for dark skin G.L.A.M.s as myself. The powder I mainly use a highlight on my nose and forehead along with baking. This powder is excellent due to it brightening up the face. I also use it on my bare face as an added step before applying my makeup to absorb oil.
The Maybelline Dream Matte Powder is package in a circular compact which makes it an ease for travel. The powder can break easily in the compact if not careful. This may pose an issue when it comes to travel. I use it over my foundation. It can be worn alone depending on skin tone.
Shine Free Oil Control Loose Powder
If you are looking for a loose powder that controls oil and shine all day. Then the Maybelline Shine Control Loose Powder is for you. The Maybelline loose powder won’t clog pores and it is best suited for acned prone skin, being that most acne prone skin is oily and has issue with pores being clogged. The loose powder is can be used a translucent powder to set makeup. It works well with any foundation. The Maybelline loose powder provides oil control all day long with minimal to no shine. The loose powder is 100% oil free.
The great benefit it can be used on the fairest skinned to the darkest skin G.L.A.M. It only comes in only two shades. I happened to use it as a baking powder when I use techniques such as extreme highlighting and contouring. The loose powder provides matte coverage and does not settle in the pore lines. It is the staple go to powder for a fraction of the cost!!!
