Wet ‘n’ Wild Silk Finish Lipstick
Good old fashion lipstick doesn’t get much attention these days. It seems to be all about glosses and liquid lipsticks lately. I want to inspire to get back to the traditional bullet form lipstick. One drugstore brand that I love is the Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick.
Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick claims “We’ve never quite understood why others make you spend over 20X as much on something that we give you for next to nothing. Our lipstick formula contains all the same things as the other guys: rich color, vitamins A & E, Aloe Vera, and really feels like putting silk on your lips. If you’re already thinking “That is a crazy bargain,” we’ve now added macadamia nut oil that contains antioxidants to hydrate your lips for a smooth, supple pout. Are we just crazy? Have we gone too far? Or do you deserve it? We definitely think so! One try, and we guarantee you will declare this your best lipstick brand of life”
Wet N Wild Silk Finish Lipstick has 24 shades which are creamy and versatile, and which deliver a comfortable smooth finish infused with Vitamins A, E, and Aloe Vera. I got a handful of them to showcase and demonstrate as well as to test the wearablity throughout the day.
The packaging of the Wet N Wild Silk Finish Lipstick is simple. It is a black tube with a clear case easily visible to what shade being presented. Have this clear cover is way better than trying to read the fine print on the tube. The shades are extremely pigmented. They glide on smoothly with a creamy silky slide. Best of all the lipstick doesn’t tug at the lips. Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick minimizes lip lines and conceals aging of the lip. This satin finish lipstick does not show those lines and textures that we wish we did not have. This lipstick gives the lips a youthful appearance. If you are looking for a matte feel, this is not the lipstick. This lipstick is not like the Mega-Last High Shine from Wet n Wild or any matte lipstick. It has a satin finish, which, frankly, is very complimentary to mature skin. One must reapply this lipstick as it does not last as long as Mega-Last or a matte lipstick. However, I am fine with the touch ups throughout the day. I am happy to reapply beautiful lipstick that makes my lips look young and plump.
